Join the Global Conversation on Parental Alienation

8th International PASG Conference 2026

Hosted by Parents Beyond Breakup – Australia’s leading experts in supporting separating families and preventing suicide in high-conflict situations. For the first time in the Southern Hemisphere, the world’s premier network on parental alienation – the Parental Alienation Study Group (PASG) – is coming to Perth, Western Australia  11–13 October 2026. Pan Pacific Hotel, Perth.

Kick off with an evening reception on 11 October. Main conference starts 12 October – aligning with Parental Alienation Awareness Day in Australia and New Zealand.

This landmark event brings together academics, researchers, legal professionals, law enforcement, social workers, family violence specialists, suicide prevention experts, First Nations experts and uniquely,  a major stream of lived experience speakers and panels.

For the first time, Asia-Pacific voices will shine, creating a diverse, inclusive program that bridges research, policy, practice, and real-family stories. Together, we’ll move beyond identifying harm to facilitating change, preventing harm, and shaping better frameworks for children and families affected by parental alienation – the targeted undermining of a child’s relationship with one parent by the other.

Whether you’re a researcher, practitioner, advocate, or someone with personal experience, this is your chance to contribute, learn, network, and help drive meaningful reform.

A message from the PASG 2026 Conference Chair

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to PASG 2026, the International Conference of the Parental Alienation Study Group (PASG), proudly hosted by Parents Beyond Breakup in Perth, Western Australia, from 11–13, October 2026.

This year’s conference marks a significant milestone—not only in our ongoing mission to address and understand parental alienation, but also in the growing collaboration between global and local communities. Parents Beyond Breakup, a leading Australian advocacy and support organisation, is honoured to host this event and bring together voices from around the world to share research, strategies, and stories of resilience.

PASG 2026 will feature a dynamic program of keynote speakers, expert panels, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities. We will explore the latest developments in clinical practice, legal reform, and public education, all aimed at supporting families and professionals navigating the challenges of parental alienation.

Perth offers a stunning setting for this important dialogue. I warmly encourage you to extend your visit and experience the natural beauty, culture, and hospitality of Western Australia. Whether you're joining us as a researcher, practitioner, advocate, or affected parent, your presence will help shape a more informed and compassionate future.

We look forward to welcoming you to Perth!
