Sal (she / they) has worked in the not-for-profit sector for over 16 years, 13 of which in the youth sector, in areas of youth homelessness and complex barriers. Sal graduated university with a Bachelor of Psychology, returning to complete a Masters of Human Rights (with Distinction) in 2020. For the last two years Sal has been the Manager of Freedom, a suite of youth services supporting LGBTIQA+ young people aged 12-25 years across Western Australia. Freedom consists of a drop-in, therapeutic art group, counselling and community development, providing support to both individual young people as well as community capacity building. Sal's passion is working with the most marginalised and disadvantaged young people to overcome the systemic barriers placed on them.
Sal is also the Chair of YACWA, is on the Board of her children's primary school, and is on the WA state committee for Suicide Prevention Australia.
Professor Cheryl Kickett-Tucker AM is a Wadjuk Noongar Aboriginal from Western Australia. She is a Research Fellow at Curtin University and Project Director at Koya Aboriginal Corporation.
Her research interests include Aboriginal identity and self-esteem of Aboriginal children, including the development of culturally appropriate instruments for racial identity and self-esteem across the lifespan.

Jacqueline McGowan-Jones has an extensive background in education, child protection, Indigenous affairs, and suicide postvention. Her experience includes senior executive roles across state and federal governments, and the non-government sector. As Commissioner, Jacqueline has a statutory responsibility to monitor, protect and advocate for the rights and wellbeing of all Western Australian children and young people. She firmly believes that all young people have a right to be heard, and actively works to foster a heightened level of understanding and engagement in matters that affect our children and young people.
As a Whadjuk/Ballardong Elder performing Welcome To Country, Ms Freda Ogilvie has also taken part in national forums on early childhood education, and contributed to Aboriginal early childhood programs in the Northern Territory and Western Australia. As a Welcome to Country speaker, Ms Freda Ogilvie plays a vital role in ceremonies and events, formally acknowledging the traditional custodians of this land. A tireless advocate for Indigenous rights and social justice, Freda is actively involved in initiatives that empower Indigenous communities, promote cultural diversity, and challenge the prevailing stereotypes and prejudices.

Ben Calleja is an executive coach, facilitator, strategist and is a Director of CCSolutions /Growth Coaching WA since 2015. Prior to leading CCSolutions / Growth Coaching International, Ben worked as an educational leader and administrator in both Australia and the United States for over 16 years.
