The annual LRTAWA conference/industry day has been held every year since 1980. The aim of the event is to bring LRTAWA members and supporters of rural transport together in a relaxed and friendly environment, to provide briefings and information on topical issues and to spend some time in one another's company. 

In 2023 the LRTAWA will be co-hosting their Annual State Conference in conjunction with the ALRTA National Conference.

Departing Abbey Beach Resort at 12.00 noon join us for a tour of the Margaret River region where you will have the chance to taste and savour, local chocolate and sweet treats, premium Margaret River wine, boutique beer, and spirits all here in the local region.

Preliminary program, subject to change, that makes the most of the day and gets you into the mood for the Sundowner.

Itinerary 

Depart Abbey Beach Resort, 12:00pm  heading down to Black Brewing Co where you will be able to choose lunch from the ever delicious menu on offer, followed by a taste from the on-site dune distillery & brewery at your leisure.

Tasting to continue at the Cheeky Monkey Brewing Company and for those more intrigued by sweet treats and local relishes and oils, enjoy the surroundings at Bettenay’s Margaret River Nougat Company and the famous Margaret River Chocolate Factory & Providore, take some home some local delicacies to enjoy afterward.

The bus will return to Abbey Beach at 4.00pm before the AGM
