The Global Mental Health Summit – Western Australia 2026 invites researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and advocates to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations at this landmark event.

Presentation Categories 

  • Oral
  • Poster

Abstracts may be submitted for either oral or poster presentations and should align with one of the Summit’s key focus areas. These include research evidence shaping the future of mental health, innovations and initiatives driving real change, best practice models in policy and law, and advancing co-design, co-production, and co-evaluation across mental health systems and services.

Submission Deadline: Tuesday 7 April 2026

Notification of Acceptance: Tuesday 28 April 2026

Accepted abstracts will be published in the Summit Abstract Book (subject to registration and payment).

General Requirements:

  • Abstracts must be in English and follow the official Summit Template.
  • Maximum 500 words (excluding title and author details).
  • Structure: Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions (include 1–2 references).
  • Title in UPPER CASE; list all authors with presenter first (family name, first name, institution, country).
  • Indicate oral or poster presentation and include keywords
  • Maximum 2 abstracts per person.
