On behalf of the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses (ACCCN) and the National Events Committee, we have great pleasure inviting you to register for ACCCN’s Annual Education Meeting (AEM) which is being held on 20-21 October 2022, at the Sea World Conference Centre, Gold Coast.
The challenges of critical care nursing require a sound knowledge of contemporary professional issues and evidence based clinical practise. Additionally, the demands of the past two years have highlighted the need to maintain the health and wellbeing, sustainability, and resilience of the critical care workforce. The theme of AEM 2022 “Making a splash in critical care” captures these priorities in a program offering a broad range of topics designed to appeal to clinicians across intensive care, coronary care, emergency, and beyond. As clinical nurses, educators and managers, allied health clinicians and researchers all come together, refreshing ourselves with new knowledge, ideas, and connections, it is good to remember that small ripples can have a flow on effect leading to waves of change as we share what we have gained with our colleagues.
Especially for the 2022 AEM, a dedicated paediatric program is included on Day 1 which carries over to the Friday with a paediatric ventilation workshop for those delegates registering for the full program.
The AEM is designed to connect people from across the industry, providing opportunities to strengthen existing relationships and create new ones. The program is shaping up well and will include exciting social events and abstract papers.
If you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact the appointed professional Meeting organisers, Encanta, as detailed below.
We look forward to seeing you there!
